This day has already been, and will continue to be jam-packed with happiness and lovin. I can hardly contain myself. It is all I can do to sit tight right now to write this...
How it started:
I woke up an looked at my phone (Hello Moto) and found that I was featured on this blog!** Which is amazing, because it is one of my favs. You should check it out, if you didn't yesterday when I posted this.
** You can see my shiny new badges to the right! (You may have to scroll to see them!)
Naturally, props like this leave me seeing through rose colored glasses all day. A little kindness goes a long way! (My glasses literally have rose-tinted frames... awesomeness)
Once I had these glasses on... I started seeing love in a lot of my things. I took pictures, so that you could find the love in them too:
This might be my favorite gift I received for Christmas.... (Aside from the fact that it was made in China...crap). You can find it here.
My awesome new EOS lip balm! It isn't petroleum based, and it doesn't have alcohol in it to dry out your lips and force you to reapply.. . like other brands. Bonus: 95% Organic and all natural! Picked mine up at Meijer for about $3. It fixed my cracked lips in two days.
Hand-painted glass file. Ah-mazing. They take some getting used to, but totally worth the adjustment period.
This shirt was a gift, and it represents a large part of my general philosophy on life. (Sorry about the boob shot. I was too lazy to take the shirt off for the pic.)
After getting ready, and making coffee, and inhaling eggs -- I went to Whole Foods. On the way there I cracked my window, blared my music, and sang like a fool at the top of my lungs.
There are never, ever, EVER parking spaces. Knowing this, I parked all the way at the other end of the strip mall and walked. It was a beautiful day, and I enjoyed the extra calories burnt.
I took this with me. I love canvas bags. I especially love this one because it has an inside pouch and it says "respect every shade of green," which is comical and true. It is also the slogan for my job, and I love to promote Recyclebank! (Yes, that is Britney's greatest hits the bag is sitting on. And, yes, I use a tax service)
I bought all kinds of things at Whole Foods, and wandered aimlessly -- a lot. I bought meatless "beef" crumbles to sneak into these Sloppy Joes/Janes, and the other few ingredients that I didn't already have (Whatever you do, do NOT tell my husband about the no-meat part)
I am making these along with some oven "fried" potato wedges for the Wii playing and movie watching party I am having tonight with my best-ever neighbors! Reason # 53423978 why today is greatness.
I also found some super awesome cards that I will blog about tomorrow! I can hardly wait to show you the ones that I purchased!
To make sure you don't miss out (and to make me feel super de-duper loved) you could "follow" me or subscribe via email or RSS feed ... you'll find these links to the right, along the edge! It is quick and painless, I promise.
Thank you thank you thank you for stopping by. See you tomorrow?
I hope you have an amazing weekend as well! Xo
